A Passage in Time (в пер. с англ. "проход во времени") — первый альбом-сборник группы Dead Can Dance, выпущенный на американском лейбле Rykodisc в октябре 1991 года специально для продаж в США. Затем сборник был ремастирован и выпущен во всём мире в 1998 году.

Об альбоме

Для сборника были отобраны композиции преимущественно с двух предшествующих альбомов группы — «The Serpent's Egg» и «Aion», ни одной с дебютного, один трек со второго диска «Spleen and Ideal» и два — с третьего «Within the Realm of a Dying Sun». Две композиции, «Bird» и «Spirit», были записаны специально для данного релиза.
