Single Page Application

Single page application (SPA) — это веб-приложение, которое выполняется непосредственно на стороне клиента в Web-браузере, обычно написанное на комбинации из HTML, JavaScript и CSS[1]. Приложение может получать доступ к структурам веб-страницы как к объектам дерева DOM.

Как и DHTML, LAMP или Ajax, SPA только обозначает использования какого-то набора технологий и не является самостоятельной технологией.

Одним из наиболее известных примеров SPA является TiddlyWiki[2].
