Сюжет

Мистер Финч (Майкл Эмерсон) — загадочный миллиардер, разработавший компьютерную программу для правительства, которая предсказывает террористические угрозы США. Она была написана с целью не допустить повторения событий 11.09.2001, но Финч обнаружил, что программа также предсказывает множество "нерелевантных" (не террористических) преступлений. Информация об обычных угрозах записывалась отдельно и стиралась каждую ночь. Со временем Финч понял, что огромное количество ординарных преступлений также могли бы быть предотвращены, если бы данные использовались. Финч нанимает Риза (Джеймс Кэвизел) — бывшего агента ЦРУ, предполагаемо, мертвого, чтобы помочь остановить эти преступления, используя ресурсы и технику Финча, и навыки и знания Риза.
