The Black EP — четвёртый мини-альбом нью-йоркской инди-рок пост-панк группы Interpol, выпущенный 26 августа 2003 года британской компанией EMI[1].

Об альбоме

The Black EP включает в себя концертную запись группы Interpol с одного из выступлений под названием «The Black Sessions», проводимых французской радиостанцией Radio France. Выступление, состоявшееся 27 августа 2002 года[3], длилось 45 минут, в течение которых Interpol исполнил изрядную часть песен с их недавно выпущенного дебютного альбома Turn on the Bright Lights, а также песни «Song Seven» с мини-альбома Precipitate EP и «Specialist» с мини-альбома Interpol EP. Официально, в The Black EP вошло только четыре записанных концертных композиции, а также студийные версии песен «NYC» и «Say Hello to the Angels».
