Disharmonic Orchestra был основана в Австрии и является ярким представителем Дет-метал/Грайндкора. В 1989 году в Клагенфруте были представлены две демо записи. После этого группа заключила контракт на разработку студийного альбома с Nuclear Blast в 1989.
